FAQ

Exercise

Q:  If the weekly team or individual challenges are additional exercise challenges, can the minutes spent on completing those challenges count towards my daily exercise minutes?

A:  No, but thanks for asking.
_______

Q:  If I do a WOD and then stay for yoga, do I get 20 points for the day?

A:  No.  The maximum points you can get from working out each day is 10, but you are welcome to double up and do more.  No you won't receive extra points for them, but it may help your results for muscle gain or fat loss or just make those "after" pictures that much prettier.  :)
________

Q:  If I can't make it to CFSV 5 days a week, can I do a "Travel WOD" at home and still count it as 10 points like a normal WOD?

A:  Yes, but there are some guidelines:
  • You may only count 1 "Travel WOD" each week as a normal WOD.  After that, any "Travel WODs" done at home will simply count as minutes towards exercise that day.
  • To count a "Travel WOD" as a normal WOD, there must be a 5 minute warm-up, at least a 12-15 minute WOD, and then a 5 minute cool-down or stretching.
  • If you want some ideas for "Travel WODs," there's a link right below the FAQ with lots of ideas.

Daily Goals

Q:  I know I'm supposed to eat every 3 to 4 hours, but what if I'm hungry before it's been three hours, can I still eat?

A:  YES!  I just don't want you going longer than 4 hours, but if you are hungry before 3 hours, please, eat!
________

Q:  If I use honey or agave to make a treat instead of sugar, does it still count as a treat?

A:  Yes.  If it's a cookie, brownie, bar, cake, or candy, even if it's a "healthier" version, it still counts as one of your treat servings.
________

Q:  Do I have to count diet soda as a treat?

A:  No; however, there may be a challenge where we address this a bit more.
________

Q:  Do I have to count regular soda as a treat?

A:  Yes.
________

Q:  Are the individual challenges ALL or NOTHING?

A:  No.  Each challenge is worth 25 points, but they will be broken down with each Sunday explanation of the new challenge.
