Week 2: Team Challenge

Bleachers baby!

12 rounds of bleachers per person on your team

Here how it's going to work:

You may choose your school, Riverton High or Herriman High.  Riverton seems to always be unlocked, where you may need to hop a pretty easy fence to get on Herriman's track.

Start on the southeast side of the bleachers.

Continue going up and down all stairwells on the bleachers.  At the northeast side, exit to the track.

Run 100m around the curve to the west side of bleachers.

Repeat the same up and down process, starting on the northwest end.

Run another 100m around the curve back to the place you started at the southeast end of the bleachers.

This equals 1 time around the track.

Herriman High's bleachers are tall on both sides, where Riverton's are half as high on the east side.  To make this fair, if you do Herriman's track, you only need to do 9 rounds of bleachers + 3 extra times around the track without doing bleachers.

You can do them all in 1 day or break them up over the week, but if they all get done by Saturday night, each person on your team will be able to award themselves an additional 25 points.

Yes, you can help out a teammate if you choose to do so.

Any other questions?

  2. Hmmm, we did stairs and sprints for Ultimate last year at the high school by Sugarhouse... something like 40 stairs... hopping up those things on one leg... skipping a stair... skipping 2 stairs... grrr, my legs hurt just thinking about it again!

    1. Hmmm, you're probably not trying to give me ideas on purpose, right Nathan? :)

  3. Does anyone know if we're allowed on school property during school hours? I know they are so careful these days about having people lingering around schools.

  5. Wow! I convinced my Ragnar team to do this with me this morning. What a blast! I will probably not be able to walk for a few days though. Great workout Miki :)
